Edwardian Bathing Costume w Matching Coverup Skirt
Edwardian black twill with matching over skirt bathing costume. During this period these costume were referred to as bathing costume and not suits. Bathing suits did not come into the Lexicon till the 20s. There is some damage. Some separations to the twill along the waist band of the main costume. The bathing costume closes with buttons up the center front. The skirt attached to the main body of the swimming garment via buttons on the waist line. The elastic around the waist opening and the sleeves needs to be replaced. Accenting the neckline are two quarter inch bands of twill.
