Ted Stein Navy Blue Suit w Tiny Button Detail
1950s This suit is from the very late 40s into the early 50s. Ted Stein Navy blue wool gabardine suit with tiny button and checkerboard stitching detail. The round collar has an added matching fabric trim piece that is top stitched in a contrasting color in a checkerboard pattern. The tiny white buttons are set in alternating boxes. This detail is repeated on turned back cuffs on the jacket sleeve. Matching fabric buttons close the center front with welt buttonholes. Small pockets with matching button detailing further accent the jacket. The skirt is a simple A line with a center back inverted kick pleat. The original belt is with the jacket. The jacket is fully lined in silk crepe.
