1950s Emma Domb White Dotted Swiss and Tulle Wedding Gowns
1950s Emma Domb of California ivory dotted Swiss and lace ball gown with an under bodice and slip of white rayon with layers of white tulle between. The strapless white rayon bodice has a sweetheart neckline. The upper bodice shoulders and sleeves are sheer. The sleeves are _Ó and puffed. This dress could easily be a wedding gown. The closure up the back is a long row of covered buttons with hooks and snaps down into the skirt. The full skirt of this gown begins with white rayon next to the skin followed by two layers of white tulle. The top layer is the matching dotted Swiss with vertical rows of ivory crocheted floral lace. I am sure this gown was snowy white. There has been yellowing with age. A good dry cleaner could get out.
